TrakMaster™ software
For all users
TrakMaster™ is the SuperTrak CONVEYANCE™ proprietary configuration software for all SuperTrak CONVEYANCE™ products. Specifically designed for ease-of-use and efficiency, it combines simulation capabilities, configuration of tracks and diagnostics tools leveraging the integrated functionality of the SuperTrak CONVEYANCE™ platform. Once your SuperTrak is configured, your PLC can manage the track by sending commands and receiving status messages efficiently, enabling faster integration, deployment and maintenance.
However, while production expectations may become more complicated, floorspace comes at an ever-increasing premium cost, often making expansion of current processes unsustainable.
TIA Portal integration
For Siemens users of SuperTrak HORIZON3™
Siemens users can now control HORIZON3™ shuttles as technology objects in TIA Portal, as an alternative to using SuperTrak HORIZON3™ configured in TrakMaster™. This native integration leverages the ProfiNet IRT strengths and the TIA Portal’s unique features to link shuttles to other technology objects and achieve complex synchronization operations. Features such as collision avoidance, sending to positions, and motion management are also natively available in TIA Portal to ease the use of independent shuttle control and asynchronous motion.
Automation Studio integration
For B&R users of HORIZON10™ and VERTICAL10™
B&R users can now control HORIZON10™ and VERTICAL10™ shuttles in Automation Studio, with an additional software mode usable on tracks configured with TrakMaster™. This mode controls the shuttle position by coupling it to any other object in the environment to achieve synchronized motion or other specific tasks, such as manually controlling shuttles with a knob. The shuttle can then be unlinked from these objects to control the track as configured in TrakMaster™, easing the use of independent shuttle control and asynchronous motion.
